Office of Privacy and Open Government

The Office of Privacy and Open Government is part of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Secretary for Administration (CFO/ASA) and reports to the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Administration. The CFO/ASA’s authority is delegated through Department Organization Order 20-31, Chief Privacy Officer and Director of Open Government.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of Privacy and Open Government is to protect privacy and promote transparency in all Department of Commerce activities.
